ChemDigiT is a small but useful application that allows you to solve different type of chemical equations. The equations you can solve include: molar concentration, the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution (pH), pH hydrolysis, pH mixture, the concentration of an identified analyte (titration), the balancing of a chemical equation, buffer compositions, and solubility. The program also includes a periodic table of the elements.
Each one of these tools is arranged by tabs and includes the required fields and the steps to calculate the formulas (some options have help guide included), for example, to calculate a molar concentration you have to enter the formula or enter the molar mass directly. If you enter the number of moles of solute and volume, the concentration will be automatically calculated; for buffer compositions you have to select the type of weak acid or base, enter the ka or pka value, etc.
If you try to calculate a formula and some fields are not entered correctly, the program will show up a message indicating the required information.
The periodic table has detailed information of all the elements.
